It's Penang

Whewwww, it's been a loooong time since I've updated this blog. It's almost dead and it shall now be revived! Muahahahahahaha.. XD

Well, just got back from Penang on Sunday and the ironic thing is that I fell sick as soon as I arrived home, spent all of Monday in bed and today went to the doctor as I somehow managed to contract conjunctivitis.. Irony indeed.. =]

Penang oh Penang, it was awesome! Crashed at Joycelyn Ch'ng's house for four days and had a blast! The food, so much much good food. I'm spoilt, to quote Carol, how to ever look at KL food after eating there. Wowzers. Haha. When they say there ain't no food like Penang food, believe them. Haha.

I guess the best part for me wasn't just the food and the quality fellowship or the super cool mocha I made myself or the waffles or the Penang chendul (yes, it was spelt that way). While it was all awesome, I enjoyed having the opportunity to live with siblings for four days. I mean being an only child, it's indeed a novel experience to have to share a house with so many other people even if it's only for a short time. It's just not the same even in camps. It was an awesome time. Did a lot of shopping, a lot of singing and of course, a lot of eating.

One last thing I learnt about Penang? It's Penang! It's near impossible to get lost, there are multiple roads everywhere unlike KL and the drivers there are just as bad. XD
